Our factory reprensents a model of exhaustive research work which have contributed to knowledge on the use Snail Secretion Filltrate (SSF) from Archachatina Maginata and Achatina Fulica as a pharmaceutical and cosmetic resource. The bioactives, amino acids, glycoproteins & copper peptide contents of this SSF provides the skin with unique defence layer against disease causing organisms.
For cosmetic application, it stiches broken skin, fades away wrinkles, builds collagen and accelerates wound-healing. It also prevents skin tumor through the presence of natural anti-tumor compounds like Octadecanoic acid. It hydrates dry skin all-day-long due to the abundance of amino acids. Our unique extraction process presents in abundance, crucial amino acids needed in high-grade skincare and collagen formation by the skin cells. Some of the tested amino acids in our product are aspartic, glutamic, arginine, lysine, glycine, and leucine. These amino acids and other tested bioactive compounds remain consistent across our product.
SSF plays crucial role in pharmaceutical drug development. Snail slime contains natural peptides and bioactive compounds that inhibits variety of resistant bacteria and fungi microbes. Purified SSF is currently used in formulation of anti-bacterial and antifungal creams, wound-healing gels, and gastrointestinal drugs.
At Valorafrica, we built and patented an automated extraction technology that enables us to extract snail slime in a healthy, closely-monitored and cruelty-free environment. Our newly-designed technology is able to cleanse snails of microbes and germs for as long as necessary before extraction. With dedicated years of study, experimentation and analysis, we are able to produce healthy SSF from the Achatina Fulica and Archachatina Maginata snail species.
